Lakeview Health System
Community Involvement

What is PowerUp?
PowerUp is a community-wide initiative to make it easy, fun and popular to eat better and be active so youth can reach their full potential. PowerUp is a long term commitment to create healthier communities throughout the St. Croix Valley and in partnership with schools, families, organizations and the entire community.

Why is it important?
Health experts predict that today’s kids will have shorter and less healthy lives than adults, unless something changes. Join us and let’s PowerUp together, to do what’s best for kids.

Sponsorships, Scholarships, and Grants

Lakeview Hospital teams up with St. Croix Valley organizations to sponsor the Stillwater high school senior class project of making art kits for children at Children's Hospital.

The scholarship program was established to assist local students who are pursuing an advanced education in medicine or nursing, and has expanded over time to recognize the ongoing needs of both our community and our hospital for qualified, caring healthcare delivery professionals. Health & Wellness Grants

Lakeview Health Foundation's board of directors has oversight of the disbursement of health and wellness grants on behalf of all Lakeview Health subsidiaries, including those made by Lakeview Hospital. Grants are paid out of Hospital funds, but all correspondence and proposals should be sent to the Foundation office.

Grant requests are reviewed once a year at the February meeting of the Lakeview Health Grants Committee. Please submit your request no later than December 15, 2018. View our 2020 Grant Application and guidelines, and the 2018 Community Health Needs Assessment Summary
