Waiting Areas

Lakeview provides comfortable, convenient waiting areas for family and friends. The main waiting area, including surgery waiting, is located on the ground floor near the emergency entrance. Reading materials, television and a children’s play area may be found in this area. Additional waiting areas are located in the first floor main corridor, and the Women’s Center on the second floor. Family waiting rooms are located in the MICU and near the first floor inpatient areas. Please do not leave children unattended in any of the waiting areas. Visitors waiting for patients in surgery should register with the volunteer at the surgery waiting desk on the ground floor. It is important to notify the volunteer when you plan to leave the area. By doing so, we can locate you promptly when the surgeon is ready to visit with you.
