Thursday, May 24, 2018 - St. Croix Valley royalty thanks Lakeview Emergency Department for care

Three times last winter, Michelle Bergh, Miss St. Croix Valley, found herself in the Lakeview Hospital Emergency Department. Her visits were due to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a non-life-threatening heart condition. Yesterday (May 23), Michelle, from Stillwater, returned with her Northern Lights Princesses, sisters Caleigh and Audrey Proulx, of Woodbury, bearing cupcakes and a note of thanks for the care she received. “We have an attitude of gratitude initiative each month and this month we are celebrating hometown heroes,” Michelle told the Lakeview Emergency Department staff on duty when she delivered the treats. “I really appreciated all the care that I got here and I know that all of your patients do.”
