Tuesday, March 27, 2018 - Grief support groups for youth and adults will start in April

Youth and adults coping with the loss of a loved one will have a place to turn in April.

Lakeview Hospital will offer three support opportunities designed to help those who have experienced the death of a close family member or friend. Children as young as five may benefit from the youth sessions.

“With the help of a support program and group, kids, teens, caregivers and adults alike can learn they are not alone in coping with the painful reality of death,” said hospital chaplain Bob Furniss. “Our trained facilitators address each person’s needs according to their stage in life and personal situation.”
